Adrian Vlasov is the creator of mLearn and the person behind Kikan. He is a student at EPFL who builds the desktop app, the browser extension, and the cloud infrastructure as one project.
He started mLearn to study Japanese from real content — anime, Netflix, YouTube, and manga — instead of textbook drills, and kept it free, offline-capable, and source-available under the Sustainable Use License.
